A native of California and a visual communicator. My creative journey began at a very early age and continued well into college. I even ventured briefly into art school, so I’m formally self-taught. I’ve worked as a graphic artis, production photographer and muralist, but my true joy has always been teaching art to children.
During my thirty-plus years as a creator, I’ve shown in several galleries and was contracted for five-years with LACMAs emerging artist, Arts Rental and Sales Gallery -ARSG. My work has also shown in Pierce College Gallery, Palos Verdes Design Center and Library. I have presented art in Los Angeles Cultural Affairs Heritage Calendar, consecutively, for three years.
My graphite drawings are strongly influenced by African American artist Charles White, and I lean towards classical impressionist painting. I embrace art not only as a form of communication but also as a spiritual healing tool.
